En cette fin de ce début de mois de Mai,Robin fera son come-back ā Rome,pour el compte du masters series masculin se déroulant dans la capitale italienne du 5 au 20 Mai 2007.
Comme ā Barcelone,Robin se trouve de nouveau dans la seconde partie de tableau,celle de l'Espagnol Rafael Nadal et joue au premier tout l'allemand Benjamin Becker.Il pourrait en cas de victoire rencontrer le vainqueur de la semaine derničre du tournoi d'Estoril,Novak Djokovic.
Un tournoi plutôt relevé avec des premiers tours intéressants comme Tomas Berdych opposé au finlandais Jarkko Nieminen,Igor Andreev contre David Ferrer ou J-C Ferrero contre Dominik Hrbaty.A noter le retour de Stanislas Wawrinka,aprčs deux mois d'absence.

Robin started the second clay Masters tournament against Benjamin Becker in a match that spanned over two days due to rain delay. Soderling had clear advantage over the young German and broke him four times while losing his own service only once.
In the second round the hurdle will be much tougher though with the recent Estoril winner Novak Djokovic against him.
